Every person who signs in is a user. You pay per user until the whole-firm price is cheaper; that price covers up to 28 users, and each user beyond 28 is billed at the large-firm rate. The free plan stays: the redaction tool, unlimited, and three Bates jobs a month, no card. One matter, no subscription? A Matter Pass is $49 once for 30 days of full access. Paid plans switch on when early access ends. Need it on your own server? A self-hosted edition is planned. Ask.

Is pricing final?
Prices are in US dollars, per user, per month, with a cap for the whole firm. The rate depends on whether you pay monthly, every three months or once a year. Everything is free during early access, and paid plans switch on when it ends.
Is there a per-page or per-document charge?
No. Plans are per user. Processing happens on your own computer, so there is no metered usage.
How are users counted?
Every person who signs in is a user. On the annual plan you pay $19.99 per user a month until 14 users, where the whole-firm price of $279.72 a month is cheaper; that price covers up to 28 users, and each user beyond 28 adds $9.99 a month. Adding a user never raises your bill by more than one user's rate, and a bigger firm never pays less than a smaller one.
Do you need my documents to bill me?
No. Billing is handled by a payment processor and tied to your account. Documents never leave your computer.
